Welcome to the New Site.
Yes, I've moved my personal blog off of One Tusk and onto WidgettWalls.com. That way I can keep my personal shite out of One Tusk's way, since its site needs to do its own thing. And more of that will be coming soon, I hope. We have our plans and they will develop as they unfold.
I'm going to be plugging the books more, mostly because I'm just too old and bitter to give two shits any longer about what people think about me whoring for books. After all they're my books, and no one else in the world gives even a single shit about whoring for them in my stead. So be it. Prepare for whoredom.
To make myself feel better about not being a worthless unproductive idiot, I have adopted the use of the Workblog, which I first saw on Uncle Warren's site. I think it's a damn good notion. That way, there's no cluttering up the blog with just quick little "I did this" tidbits. And I need to do more of those. It's all about time slicing.
While I'm at this, I should go ahead and announce that the next book I'm aiming to get in print is something I've probably mentioned before: it reprints Love Letters, it reprints Sunday Before You and will contain a third chapbook-sized entry of miscellania that didn't fit either place. The third section is entitled What I Did On My Summer Vacation and will contain new poetry as well. The entire volume is called No One Wants to Grow Fur Anymore. And then maybe I'll be able to close the door on that chapter of things.
Then it will be trying to get the third season of Something Else completed, and then I will publish the first three seasons as a book as well.
Then there's the fact I can't get the comics out of my head. And considering I'm not really–not really–getting paid well for anything, fuck it. I should be able to write whatever the hell I want. So you just might see two more comics join Next Wave. I've just about got everything the way I need it setup in order to be able to timeslice more writing in. So I appreciate your patience.
I've got a shitload of cleaning up to do post-move. So things will look wonky and unattractive for a while. Bear with us.
