I am finished with T-Mobile! Last month my service was such that in the middle of a phone conversation it would be nothing but static, which resulted in several calls back and forth trying to get a good connection. I emailed T-mobile, as I do not have a land line and they suggested I call from a land line, said that they were working frantically to solve the service issue in this area. I get my bill and it is over $400 !! I have NEVER gone over on my minutes and this was obviously due to the service issues. After spending several hours on the phone and online chat with T-mobile "customer service" my first offer is a credit of $20. Isn't that generous? My second and last offer was one month free (which did not include all of the taxes and fees associated with a cell bill) $79.99!! WOW! Thanks alot for NOTHING! I am DONE with T-Mobile I will pay the fee to get out of the contract and I will give them the worst advertisement with friends and family! I am willing to pay for service provided, however, this is NOT the case!

I dealt with this crap last time I upgraded phones with T-Mobile. Since we were constantly getting calls for a guy who oddly enough had the same last name as me, and we were fed up with it, we just dumped our service and signed up as a new account. It does suck that T-Mobile treats new customers better than existing ones, though.

I've heard on HowardForums that people in Chicago are getting MDAs for $250 out the door at CompUSA with a 1 year extension, and then they are still cashing in the $50 rebate, making them $200. That would be awesome, but none of the CompUSAs in Columbus, OH seem to be capable of doing upgrades.

In the end it's because the T-Mobile store in your local mall isn't really OWNED by T-Mobile, it's like a McDonalds franchise, and the guy working in there makes a better commission if he saves the limited supply of MDAs for new customers.

They need to seriously rethink their commission system.
