I wrote a response to the Ernest Adams column for my college English class a few days ago and I&#039;m pleasantly surprised you and I made many of the same points.  (It makes me feel more confidant in my opinion.)

I said in my essay that what is necessary is evolution not revolution.  Protecting users from overzealous right holders, and eliminating the giant middle man of an industry that formed to take advantage of many copyrighted works both sides prosper.

I&#039;ll admit I don&#039;t have a perfect plan to achieve this end.  But I think that by discussing this topic the process will begin.  And that&#039;s a start.</description>
