This is my latest book. Short stories written especially for you, or at least someone who reminded me a lot of you at the time.
Aww, now that's not fair. You make it sound as if I'm playing God with the calendar. I SWEAR that really was the holiday yesterday.
HOWEVER, I will not swear that today's holiday is written in stone.. "Name Your PC Day".

No no no, you misconstrue. It is not deification, but a measure of the authority you wield. Yesterday was such-and-so a day. Why? Because Sarah said so. And everyone nods and ah-hmmm-hmmms and sips their lattes in acceptance.
