I would ask this of movie studio publicists and journalists alike. For the love of God and your own body, Titanic is not the highest grossing film of all time, at least in any way that matters. Sure, domestically it made a crapload, but that's in unadjusted dollars. And unadjusted dollars don't mean squat. Gone With the Wind is the best-selling domestic release of all time, okay? And the number one comedy of all time, for the record, is The Graduate. I'm not counting Disney films in this or even The Sting, though it had some serious chuckle power.
